Udanpirappe Jyothika’s 50th film gets a release date

Jyotika, an actress, will reach a significant milestone with the release of her Tamil film “Udanpirappe”. It is Jyotika’s 50th film. The movie will be released digitally on October 14.

As part of the four-film deal between Amazon Prime Video and Suriya’s production company 2D Entertainment, the film Udanpirappe will be streamed worldwide on Amazon Prime Video. The family drama, directed and written by Era Saravanan, stars Samuthirakani, Jyotika and Sasikumar in the lead roles.

It will premiere exclusively in Tamil and Telugu on October 14 as Raktha Sambandham. ‘Udanpirappe’ is produced by Suriya-Jyotika and co-produced by Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian. Velraj did the cinematography, while Antony L. Rueben edited it and D. Immam composed the music.

Karnan starring Dhanush to release on Amazon Prime soon

Dhanush is coming up with his action drama film titled as Karnan on Amazon Prime soon which is yet to be announced officially.

Mari Selvaraj of Pariyerum Perumal fame helmed this film and Malayalam actress Rajisha Vijayam has made her Tamil debut with this movie.

Karnan was released on April 9, 2021 in theaters and received a good response from the audience.

According to the latest news, Dhanush has made a good deal with Amazon Prime and it is revealed that he has signed a 30-day theatrical window with Amazon Prime and it is expected to be premiered on May 9 on OTT platform.

As the films are not having a long theatrical run these days due to pandemic, the makers of Karnan have decided to release the film on OTT soon.

Amazon Prime is yet to make the official announcement of this movie premiere date.

Kalaipuli S Thanu bankrolled this product under V Creations and the music is composed by Santosh Narayan.

Amazon Prime Video in talks to buy digital rights of Salaar starring Prabhas

Salaar is a much awaited upcoming movie starring Prabhas with Shruti Hassan as the female lead.

Prashanth Neel of KGF fame is the director for this 1.5 billion budget movie Salaar and is gearing up for the grand release on April 14 next year.

There are very high expectations on this movie and so is the demand for the digital and satellite rights.

As per the latest buzz, Amazon Prime Video has offered a hefty sum for the digital rights of Salaar in all languages.

The discussions are on and if the deal is signed by the producer, this would be one of the biggest offers Amazon Prime Video has ever made for a movie.

Vijay Kiragandur is bankrolling the film under Hombale Films banner. Salaar will be simultaneously shot in Telugu and Kannada languages and will be dubbed in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.

Ravi Basrur is scoring the music for Salaar. The film was formally launched on January 16 in Hyderabad.

The shooting for Salaar began on January 29, 2021 in the coal mines near the city of Godavarikhani, Telangana.
